Nate Mason

Nathan Mason is a strategic leader in advanced engineering and quantum technology at BosonQ Psi, where he drives growth across both commercial and government markets. In this role, he leads business development, capture strategy, proposals, fundraising, and go-to-market execution, helping scale BQPhy®—a cutting-edge modeling and simulation platform powered by quantum-inspired and quantum-native algorithms. His work is centered on accelerating engineering performance through optimization, machine learning-driven simulations, and physics-based modeling, enabling faster development cycles, reduced computational costs, and more precise outcomes.

A retired veteran of the United States Air Force with more than 20 years of service, Nathan built his foundation in leadership, technical excellence, and mission-critical execution. His military career sharpened his expertise in systems integration, strategic planning, and operating effectively in high-stakes environments, instilling a disciplined and purpose-driven mindset that continues to define his leadership approach in the private sector.

Following his military service, Nathan transitioned into the Intelligence Community, serving as a Senior Signals Intelligence Cryptology professional at the National Security Agency. There, he operated at the forefront of innovation, designing advanced software and hardware solutions to address complex signals intelligence challenges in direct support of national defense. Over the course of his career, he has led teams ranging from small, specialized technical units to organizations of more than 500 personnel, consistently delivering impactful results in dynamic and evolving environments.

Nathan’s academic background is rooted in electrical engineering, complemented by studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, providing him with both deep technical expertise and strategic business acumen.
