Hovig Margossian, General Partner at DTF Advisors, focuses on early and growth-stage companies in aerospace, defense, space technology, and infrastructure sectors. He backs differentiated companies developing dual-use technologies that benefit both national security and humanity, and has led investments in category-defining companies including VAST, JetZero, and Overland AI.
He previously served as SVP in Bank of America’s Global Commercial Banking group, where he led the Aerospace, Defense, and Space Technologies team in Los Angeles, overseeing a portfolio of 25 clients with $1B+ in loan commitments.
Before entering finance, he served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic and aerial observer, including two deployments to Iraq.
He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, a B.A. from UC Santa Cruz, and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.
