Christopher Collar

Christopher P. Collar serves as a Senior Research Analyst and Financial Advisor at Collar Capital Management, where he provides strategic financial guidance, portfolio analysis, and investment insights. His work is focused on helping clients navigate complex market environments through disciplined research, data-driven decision-making, and long-term wealth strategies designed to build and preserve capital.

Prior to entering the private sector, Christopher served as a Captain in the United States Army’s Armor Branch at Fort Irwin, California. In that role, he advised and supported Commanding Generals and their executive staff while also leading armor, reconnaissance, and infantry platoons during large-scale, multi-domain joint operations. Operating under both Western and Soviet warfare doctrine, he developed a deep understanding of tactical leadership, operational planning, and decision-making in high-pressure environments.

Following his military service, Christopher transitioned into financial services, where he built a strong foundation in investment analysis, portfolio management, and client advisory. His experience reflects a disciplined approach to evaluating market opportunities, managing risk, and delivering tailored financial strategies aligned with client objectives.

Christopher studied at the Boston College Carroll School of Management, where he developed his academic grounding in finance, business strategy, and investment principles.
